Is there still fragrance left in the fragrance bottle or water bottle?

Always check this directly on the bottle or water bottle itself. The app provides a useful indication, but may sometimes differ from the actual content. A quick visual check therefore remains the most reliable method.

 

 

Is the power cord still plugged into the outlet and the device?

First, check that the cable is properly connected to both the device and the power outlet.

  • Yes, everything is plugged in: check whether there is actually power coming from the outlet. You can easily test this by plugging in your cell phone charger, for example.

  • No, the cable is loose: plug the power cable back in correctly.

Problems with the app?

Is the app not working as it should, for example, if the device cannot be found? If so, please uninstall the app and reinstall it. This often resolves the issue quickly.

Can you hear the device operating? Does it make a different sound than usual?

Sounds can often quickly indicate what is going on. Pay attention to the type of sound:

  • A loud, shrill sound: the fragrance bottle is probably empty. Refill the fragrance.

  • A humming noise every time the device sprays: the pump may be worn out and probably needs to be replaced. Contact us for repairs.

  • A rattling noise: the pump is probably loose in the appliance. This usually requires repair as well.

  • A bubbling sound: the bottle is too full. Always leave about 2 cm of air space at the top of the bottle.

Is the device still functioning correctly and diffusing fragrance?

If necessary, shine a flashlight on the device to check whether atomization is visible.

  • Yes: the device is functioning normally. In that case, it may be a matter of odor habituation. For example, ask customers who have just entered whether they notice the odor.

  • No: then go through what might be wrong step by step:

    • Check the programming: should the device be operating at this time? Are there any overlapping time blocks set?

    • First clean the device with the Cleaner liquid.

    • Still no atomization? Then the device may be clogged and the core needs to be replaced. Please contact us for repairs.

Is there a leak in the appliance?

First, check that the fragrance bottle is correctly and securely screwed into the diffuser. Also check that the white O-ring is still in place, as this ensures a good seal and prevents leakage.

Do you see oil spills on the floor?

Then the device is probably in a place with insufficient airflow. This can cause the fragrance oil to settle instead of being dispersed with the air circulation. Therefore, move the device to a location with more traffic, or hang it slightly higher on the wall for better dispersion.

Battery-powered device: is there a red light on?

On battery-powered devices, a red light may indicate that the batteries are nearly depleted. If you notice that the device is no longer functioning, it is likely that replacing the batteries will restore proper operation.

Ventilation device: is everything still connected correctly?

Check whether the ventilation is still on and check whether the tube is still properly positioned in the duct. Normally, it is taped in place, but sometimes it can come loose, preventing the scent from being distributed properly.
